Mary is experienced and trained in the specialized field of forensic genealogy. Forensic genealogy involves a high standard of investigative genealogical research, analysis, and documentation for legal matters that involve heirs and descendants. Using original records, Mary specializes in New Mexico land grant cases. Mary also locates heirs for probate and quiet title cases, and she conducts deed research for property matters. She recently completed a forensic genealogy training institute conducted by the Council for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy.
Assisting historians and authors, Mary conducts research using original documents on historical people, places, and events. She specializes in New Mexican research, Santa Fe Trail traders, military records, and court documents.
